Handicap calculations
First, a participant's ideal time is found based on gender and age. The scheme below is used as a starting point to create piecewise continuous graphs

Once an ideal time has been found based on the above, it must then be corrected for weight. This is done with the following formula.
corrected ideal time = 0.3815 * vægt0,2218
The participant with the highest time will then be the participant with handicap = 0
The handicap of the other participants then becomes the difference between the ideal time for the participant in relation to the participant with the highest ideal time.
